Day 1 - Arrival

Exploring our neighbourhood, the Jewish Quarter or Erzsébetváros.

Day 2

Funicular to Buda. Varoshaza Market. Szimpla Kert.

Day 3

Parliament. Szent István (St. Stephen) Basilica.

Day 4

Széchenyi Baths. The park and castle. Heroes Square. Guzdu Udvar ruin bar complex.

Day 5

Margaret Island. Cake at Gerbeaud. Night-time river cruise.

Day 6

Great Market Hall. Alfresco lunch at Vórösmarty market. West End mall.

Day 7

Szimpla Kert farmers' market. Great Synagogue. Holocaust memorials, museum.

Day 8

The flight home being at 06:30, we had to leave the apartment at the ungodly hour of 03:00 to catch the airport bus.

However, all travel went to plan and we arrived home safe and well.
