Holiday!
My choice of destination came from the good prices of flights from
Belfast to Pisa with Jet2. Pisa's Galileo Galilei Airport is the
largest in Tuscany, and is often considered a transit point for
Florence.
But I knew that the beautiful city of Lucca is only a short distance
away, and there's a railway station actually in the airport. I booked
flights and a little apartment in the historic part of the city. I'd do
a holiday entirely car free for a change.
Here's my tour diary:
At leisure in Lucca. Florence. Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Rock'n'Roll in Lucca.
Pisa. Walking the aqueduct. Viareggio and Torre del Lago.
