Lucca 2010Holiday!

My choice of destination came from the good prices of flights from Belfast to Pisa with Jet2. Pisa's Galileo Galilei Airport is the largest in Tuscany, and is often considered a transit point for Florence.

But I knew that the beautiful city of Lucca is only a short distance away, and there's a railway station actually in the airport. I booked flights and a little apartment in the historic part of the city. I'd do a holiday entirely car free for a change.

Here's my tour diary:

Week 1

At leisure in Lucca. Florence. Crosby, Stills and Nash.

Week 2

Rock'n'Roll in Lucca.

Week 3

Pisa. Walking the aqueduct. Viareggio and Torre del Lago.
